Julian Sayin did not shy away from naming the players he tries to emulate. The Ohio State freshman quarterback recently sat down on the “Down 2 Business” podcast and was asked whose playing style he tries to copy. Sayin pointed to Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow.

“Yeah, I try to try to model after Burrow. You know, he’s someone who kind of plays almost like a point guard where he’s dealing, you know, getting the ball in the playmaker’s hands, he’s trying to find it,” Sayin said.

“I think that’s kind of the way I’m trying to model my game after I think a little bit kind of similar to the leadership style. I’m not, you know, not super outspoken, kind of like him.”

Meanwhile, the $50,000,000 worth NFL star, as per Celebrity Net Worth, is facing his own challenges. Burrow had surgery for a Grade 3 turf toe injury that placed him on injured reserve after Week 2 of the season. After Burrow went down, the Bengals traded in Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns. The Bengals currently sit at 3-5 halfway through the season.

Julian Sayin Dominates in Blowout Win Over Wisconsin

Julian Sayin has been nothing short of electric this season, as he continues giving standout performances. Sayin put on a show against Wisconsin on Oct. 18 as he threw for 393 yards and four touchdowns in a dominant 34-0 blowout win over the Wisconsin Badgers.

While speaking about Sayin, Ohio State wide receiver Brandon Inniss said that his QB will win the Heisman Trophy.

At the same time, reports from Cincinnati are suggesting Burrow is recovering well. He is walking without a boot but there is no timeline for his return.

Burrow signed a five-year, $275 million contract extension in September 2023 and is one of the highest-paid QBs in the league.
