Brooks Koepka’s PGA Tour Return Official as Farmers Insurance Open’s Full Field Gets Revealed

When Brooks Koepka announced his PGA Tour return 10 days ago, the golf world was thrilled. After all, the 5-time Major champion was returning to the Tour after spending a brief period with the PIF-backed LIV Golf. Koepka’s move was seen as the beginning of many potential big names from LIV crossing the bridge to return to the PGA Tour.

While other big names from LIV are yet to follow Koepka’s footsteps, the 35-year-old’s return to the Farmers Insurance Open is now official. On X, the official handle of PGA Tour Communications announced the full field for the Farmers Insurance Open, in which Koepka’s name was featured.

It must be noted that Brooks Koepka playing at the Farmers Insurance Open shouldn’t come as a major surprise. When Koepka mentioned he would return to the PGA Tour 10 days ago, he also added that his first two events on the Tour would be the Farmers Insurance Open and the WM Phoenix Open.

Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour next week will officially be the first time he has played on the Tour since 2022. Last year, the 35-year-old went through a rough patch in LIV Golf, which saw him register a winless season. All eyes will now be on Koepka to see if he can discover his former self when he returns to the PGA Tour.
