Brooks Koepka is currently at Harbour Town Golf Links for the 2026 RBC Heritage. He is not one of the 82 golfers in the competition, but rather the first alternative. This means that if any golfer withdraws from the event before the opening round begins, Koepka will enter in their place. He was seen waiting at the golf course for the final call on his participation and possibly sleeping while doing so.
NUCLR Golf recently reported about this on X, posting a photo of Brooks Koepka waiting on the course to see if he will compete in the tournament or not. The caption of this X post stated,
“First alternate vibes Brooks Koepka is playing the waiting game at Harbour Town ⏰🏌️”
Fans in the comments went on to troll the PGA Tour in the comments section of this post for their behavior with Brooks Koepka. Fans noted that the golfer has already suffered greatly for switching to LIV Golf, and he is still not a part of any signature tournament, which is unfortunate for him. Some fans even stated that practically everyone wants Koepka to compete in the RBC Heritage and that he should schedule a tee time instead of napping like this.
Talking more about these fans’ comments, here’s a look at a few of them:
“He’s good for the tour, let the man play,” one fan stated.
“The PGA has done him so wrong. Fines, apologies, embarrassment, no signature events. Stripped his manhood from him, yet still showcase his name and face at every opportunity for $. What a deplorable organization.” Another fan pointed out.
“Looks like he’s taking a nap! He’ll get in because the tv coverage loves him! 🤷🏼♂️” one fan exclaimed.
“😂😂 that’s an unfortunate look for BK.” One fan joked about it.
“Get him a tee time,” One fan demanded.
