After a succesful Florida Swing, the PGA Tour is now headed to Houston for the 2026 edition of Texas Children’s Houston Open. This is the 12th event on the PGA Tour’s schedule, second-to-last tournament before the Masters, is set to tee off at the Memorial Park Golf Course on Thursday, March 26.

The non-signature event will see a stacked field of golfers compete for the $1.782 million winner’s paycheck from the $9.9 million purse. Apart from the prize checks, the contest also offers golfers a chance to secure an Augusta National trip if they are yet to qualify. For the unversed, the event field will feature 20 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) including World No.1 Scottie Scheffler.

The 29-year-old returns to the playing field ahead of the Masters, after taking a short break from the circuit. Unsurprisngly, the four-time major winner is also the outright favorite to win the weekend. The American Ryder Cupper enters the competition with +300 odds, according to DraftKings. Notably, the ace golfer has been three-time runner-up at Memorial Park since 2022.

While the reigning Open champion tops the odds list, Houston Open’s defending champion Min Woo Lee trails him on the odds list. The Aussie, who emerged as a breakthrough winner in his first look at Memorial Park last year, returns this weekend with +2250 odds. The 27-year-old will be teeing up on the back of a forgettable T32 finish at The Players.

World No.10 Chris Gotterup and No.33  Sam Burns share the third place on the DraftKings odds list for the event. Gotterup, who won the 2026 WM Phoenix Open in a dramatic playoff against Hideki Matsuyama earlier this year, will tee up on the back of The Players’ T56 finish. Burns, who missed three cuts in six starts this year, also holds +2450 odds.

LIV Golf returnee Brooks Koepka and Jake Knapp close out the top five with +2600 odds each. The top-five will be trailed by the likes of Rickie Fowler (+2900), Kurt Kitayama (+3100), Harry Hall (+3500), Nicolai Hojgaard, Ben Griffin (+3600) and Michael Thorbjornsen, among others. Adam Scott with +3800 odds is among the longshot favorites for the event.
