    The LIV Golf’s 2026 season will begin in a couple of days with the LIV Golf Riyadh. The event will feature 57 players in action, including twelve names who will make their league debut this week.

    Thomas Detry is one of the biggest moves to LIV Golf this season. He won his first PGA Tour title at the WM Phoenix Open and also qualified for the playoffs. However, he will now be seen playing for Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC.


    2) Victor Perez

    Victor Perez will be seen playing for the Cleeks Golf Club this season. The three-time DP World Tour winner has replaced Frederik Kjettrup for this year.

    Michael La Sasso is the second reigning NCAA champion to join LIV Golf. The young golfer has turned down the Masters invite and will compete for Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC this year.


    4) Elvis Smylie

    Elvis Smylie will be seen playing alongside fellow countryman Cameron Smith’s Ripper GC in 2025. The 23-year-old golfer was last seen at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.


    5) Ben An

    Byeong Hun An is another big name who has switched from the PGA Tour just before the new season. The South Korean star made a big move to lead the rebranded Korean Golf Club.

    Miguel Tabuena is playing for the 4Aces GC at LIV Golf Riyadh after Patrick Reed left the tour just a week before the event.

    Minkyu Kim is another Korean name who will be part of the Korean Golf Club. He has won seven professional titles, including a couple of wins on the Asian Tour.

    Younghan Song is the third name to join the rebranded Korean GC this season. He has mostly competed on the Japan Golf Tour, where he has won twice..

    Yosuke Asaji will be part of the LIV Golf Riyadh event after he sealed a spot via a runner-up finish in the International Series. He has won seven titles in his career, including four on the Japan Golf Tour.


    10) Richard T Lee

    Richard T. Lee will compete in LIV Golf after winning the LIV Golf Promotions. The 35-year-old Canadian has six professional wins, including three on the Asian Tour.

    Bjorn Hellgren finished third at the LIV Golf Promotions and has made it into the PIF-sponsored league. He has won eight times in his career, including once on the Asian Tour.
