‘Forever Known as a Leaver’: Fan Left Unimpressed As Ex Colorado OT Jordan Seaton Commits to LSU’s $91M Man Lane Kiffin

Former Colorado offensive tackle Jordan Seaton was undoubtedly the biggest prize left in the 2026 transfer portal, and after weeks of having fans hold their breath, he has announced that he will be going to LSU.

This means that the program is getting that $91 million worth from Lane Kiffin so far as he did not just get the top transfer portal quarterback in Sam Leavitt, but he now also has arguably the best protector for him.

Many originally saw Jordan Seaton as one of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders’ “Good Ones” who would stick with the program through thick and thin and stay loyal to the Buffaloes. However, after a dismal season, he decided to leave Boulder and enter the transfer portal, shocking many. Now, with his announcement that he will be going to LSU, some fans were not very impressed.

“Forever known as a leaver 🦬,” one buffaloes fan said.

“Mass unfollowing of Jordan Seaton who’s with me!” another Buffs fan commented.

“Too bad you couldn’t build it, but keep chasin it. Good luck with whoever you’re new “family” is.” said one fan, mentioning Seaton’s previous complaint about other players leaving the team to enter the transfer portal.

““No brotherhood in the game anymore” “if you’re a dog come to Colorado” way to lead from the front Jordan!” said another fan.

“He didn’t do sh*t at CU fr anyway. After his daddy Sheduer left everyone and there mom knew he wasn’t staying because he’s a clout chaser. Him his new coach make a good pair, backdoor Seaton and backdoor Kiff,” added another fan.

“LSU gon choke but I fw it for da money,” one commenter hoped.

Jordan Seaton’s NIL Valuation May Have Led To Him Leaving Colorado

Last year, Jordan Seaton’s NIL valuation peaked at $1.7 million with the Colorado Buffaloes, which is not bad. However, when he entered the transfer portal last month, it is now worth an estimated at $4–5 million, according to Fox8 sports reporter Garland Gillen.

Colorado does not have the same budget in retaining players as a program like LSU, and while it has a superstar coach in the Hall of Famer, this does not mean that the Buffaloes has the money to keep a player like Seaton, especially in the NIL era.
