What Did Sherrone Moore Do? Former Michigan HC’s Attorney Reveals Clear Stance On Ongoing Lawsuit

The firing of Sherrone Moore as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines sent shockwaves throughout the city of Ann Arbor. His firing set off a series of events that led to his arrest and eventually a lawsuit against him by the woman he had an alleged affair with. He appeared in court on Thursday for a hearing regarding that lawsuit, and he is now denying that he had been stalking and harassing his alleged mistress.

Moore allegedly had a relationship with one of his staffers at Michigan, even though he is already married. That staffer allegedly broke up with him and this led to him having a mental breakdown and him allegedly stalking and harassing her. She reportedly reported this to the school, leading to his firing last December.

That same day that he was fired, however, he allegedly broke into her home and threatened her with self-harm with a pair of scissors and a butter knife he grabbed from the woman’s kitchen. He was then arrested and subsequently released after paying bail. The school was also reportedly aware of his alleged mental decline ahead of firing him.

His charges included third-degree felony home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering-illegal entry without the owner’s permission. He pleaded not guilty to all.

As for his day in court, Sherrone Moore denied all the accusations and his attorney stated that his accuser just wanted to get a “financial windfall” from the University of Michigan’s “deep pockets.”

“Mr. Moore is innocent of these charges. … we filed a motion to quash the arrest warrant and dismiss the complaint,” said Ellen Michaels, the attorney for Sherrone Moore. “This warrant was issued based on false and misleading statements presented as fact. We’re confident the truth will come out in court.”

Sherrone Moore’s Wife Stands By Him Amid Cheating Allegations

Sherrone Moore is actually married with three daughters, and while he allegedly cheated on her with a Michigan staffer, his wife, Kelli, is still standing by her man. During a January 22 court appearance, she was there right beside him to show support.

She has gone viral for a photo of her scowling at a camera during that court appearance. She was also there by his side during his latest court appearance on Thursday.
