After splitting up in 2025, Deiondra Sanders and ex-Jacquees are in the news all over again. During a conversation on social media personality Jordyn Lucas’ YouTube channel this Wednesday, Jacquees was asked about his alleged love triangle with his then-partner Deiondra and rapper Dreezy, whom Jacquees reportedly dated from 2018 to 2023.
The R&B singer opened up about his history with Chicago-based rapper Dreezy and the immense respect he continues to have for her. Jacquees also admitted he was unhappy with how their relationship ended, explaining that he believes “you’re not ready for something else until you’re done with something.”
The remark appeared to suggest that he had not completely moved on from his relationship with Dreezy when he began dating Deiondra Sanders in February 2023.
The bold comments prompted Deiondra to share her side online on June 11. She posted on X that she can’t wait until her son grows up to know and see the truth for himself.
Reacting to the debacle involving his daughter and her ex, Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders posted a three-word reaction online on Thursday.
“Lawd Lawd Lawd,” Sanders wrote on X.
Jacquees’ comments that have caused such an uproar online further link back to reports in 2025 suggesting that Jacquees was still trying to reconcile with Dreezy while Deiondra was pregnant with his son Snow.
Deiondra Recalls Deion Sanders’ Response To Her Pregnancy News
Deiondra Sanders, in a recent conversation with Grammy-winning artist and podcaster Lecrae, recalled how her family reacted to her being pregnant during her relationship with her ex, Jacquees.
Deiondra revealed that her family wasn’t excited about the news, primarily because they didn’t like the way Jacquees treated her during their relationship. She said she found support from her dad, Deion Sanders, saying that the Pro Football Hall of Famer wasn’t as mad as she thought he would be, contrary to how her family reacted.
“Everybody felt some kind of way, but my dad knew the issues I had with fibroids and stuff like that. He knew I always wanted a family so he was like, ‘Okay, I understand that.’ He actually wasn’t as mad as I thought he would be,” Deiondra sAID.
Deiondra and Jacquees welcomed their son Snow on Aug. 9, 2024, before calling it quits on their relationship in 2025.
