T8) Rasheen Ali, RB, Marshall: 20.7 mph

Rasheen Ali has all the tools required to be an elite running back, including the vision and patience he’s shown over the years. Against Virginia Tech, Ali showcased his speed by hitting 20.7 mph and pushing past every Hokie defender.

T8) Bryce Kirtz, WR, Northwestern: 20.7 mph

What a game it was for Bryce Kirtz against Minnesota. Northwestern came from behind and Kirtz was the catalyst, mainly because of his ability to burn the defense deep. Kirtz blew by the Minnesota defense by reaching 20.7 mph on this long touchdown.

7) Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State: 20.8 mph

Watch out, world: Ollie Gordon II means business. A real threat with his size and speed, Gordon has made a name for himself at Oklahoma State this year and the sky is the limit. Taking a carry to the outside, Gordon hit 20.8 mph in beating defenders to the corner.

6) Kenny Johnson, WR, Pittsburgh: 21.1 mph

Kenny Johnson made a name for himself for Pittsburgh when he blew by the North Carolina coverage unit on Saturday. Johnson accelerated to 21.1 mph and scored easily against UNC because of it.

Quarterbacks with Joe Milton’s type of speed are almost unfair. Milton toted the rock for a long touchdown run against UTSA and hit 21.3 mph in the process.

T3) Lorenzo Lingard, RB, Akron: 21.4 mph

Seeing a career resurgence, Lorenzo Lingard has found a home at Akron. He’s no stranger to the big play and Lingard hit 21.4 mph on a long touchdown run against Indiana this week.

T3) Max Hairston, CB, Kentucky: 21.4 mph

Kentucky CB Max Hairston has impressed in 2023, picking off passes left and right. He uses his incredible instincts and elite athleticism to make highlight-reel plays look easy. Just like Hairston did on this pick-six against Vanderbilt when he hit 21.4 mph.

2) Harrison Waylee, RB, Wyoming: 21.8 mph

Harrison Waylee was coveted in the transfer portal during the 2022-23 offseason and his speed was certainly a reason why. He impressed for Wyoming with this long touchdown run in which he topped the charts at 21.8 mph.

1) Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina: 22.3 mph

At his size, Xavier Legette shouldn’t be able to move as fast as he does. And yet, Legette pulled away from the entire Mississippi State defense with what looked like the greatest of ease. Legette hit 22.3 mph on this long touchdown reception.
