Carson Beck Recruiting Class: Four Stars That Made It To NFL Before Miami QB

The high school recruiting class of 2019 was regarded as one of the most talented classes, with many of its biggest stars now playing in the NFL. If the traditional four-year eligibility was observed, the players in this class should have graduated by around 2023. However, one member of this elite class is still playing college football and has the chance to win a national championship, and that man is Carson Beck.

After high school, Beck went to Georgia in 2019 and was one of his class standouts. However, four players from his high school class are now doing bigger things in the NFL.

Four Carson Beck Batchmates From the Class Of 2019 In The NFL

    CJ Stroud – Houston Texans

CJ Stroud could still be playing in college if he wanted to, but the Texans quarterback has led the team to multiple playoffs and was just in the Divisional Round game. He went to Rancho Cucamonga High School in California, eventually going to Ohio State and choosing it over Georgia, where he could have competed against Beck for the QB1 spot. After going to the Texans, he has had quite the success in the NFL.

    Bryce Young – Carolina Panthers

Like Stroud, Young is considered the future of his team and has also led his team to the playoffs this year, but he could not escape the Wild Card round. He went to Mater Dei, a California high school powerhouse where he was the quarterback, eventually going to Alabama. He also chose his eventual school over Georgia, which would have meant he would have faced off against Carson Beck for the QB1 position.

DJ Uiagalelei – Los Angeles Chargers

Uiagalelei also went to an elite Southern California high school, this time in Saint John Bosco. He was a five-star quarterback in high school but now serves as the backup quarterback for the LA Chargers. Before that, he was the QB1 for the Florida State Seminoles.

    Anthony Richardson – Indianapolis Colts

The Miami native is one of the quarterbacks for the Indianapolis Colts, which had a rather disappointing season. He played for Florida in college and was one of the top quarterbacks for his class, also making it to the NFL before Carson Beck.
