Jeremiyah Love has climbed up the NFL Draft board and is on track to be one of the first players to come off it. The star running back from Notre Dame has established himself as one of the best in his draft class.
While several teams could benefit from having him on their roster, the Tennessee Titans have emerged as the frontrunners. Many experts believe that he’s nearly guaranteed to end up with the Titans.
The first few picks in the 2026 NFL Draft are unofficially confirmed. The Las Vegas Raiders are likely to make Fernando Mendoza the first overall pick, followed by David Bailey to the New York Jets, and Arvell Reese to the Arizona Cardinals.
Dan Orlovsky thinks that Love will end up in Tennessee as their fourth overall pick in the draft. ESPN NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. has predicted the same for Love. During a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Orlovsky explained why the Titans would go for the Notre Dame running back.
He said that Robert Saleh, Tennessee’s new head coach, must be looking at Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers and thinking his quarterback, Cam Ward, could benefit a lot from Love doing the same thing for the Titans.
“Jeremiyah Love is a great pass catcher, and he would be great for Cam Ward,” he said.
The idea is to stack up the team’s offense with as much talent as they possibly can so that it allows Cam Ward to lead his team to glory. The Titans are in dire need of a makeover as their last few seasons have been disappointing.
They haven’t made it out of the regular season since 2021, and as talented as the 23-year-old quarterback is, he can’t carry the team all by himself.
Dan Orlovsky Praised Jeremiyah Love
When asked if the Titans should go for Love as their No. 4 pick in the draft, Orlovsky said that if it were up to him, he wouldn’t second-guess this decision. He has complete faith in the star RB and believes that he’ll do wonders for Tennessee.
Orlovsky said that the Titans need a dominant offensive threat who can help Ward lead the team, and Love stands out from the talent pool that’s available for the franchise.
“Jeremiyah Love is a great talent, and he’s a home run waiting to happen,” he said.
Even though the Titans could also use some young and talented players on the defense, going with Love in the draft to provide Ward with the right help is the best step forward.
