Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has revealed the first look of former LSU star gymnast Olivia Dunne’s cover for its 2026 feature.
The magazine posted the picture on Instagram on Monday, in which Dunne posed in a crochet white bikini set. It featured a halter-style triangle top with low-rise bottoms from Norma Kamali.
Her photo shoot took place in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Shortly after the first look of the cover went live, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson’s fiancée, Haley Cavinder, reacted to Dunne’s look.
“YESSS 😍,” Cavinder commented.
This marks Olivia Dunne’s fourth year with the brand (2023-2026). She is also currently filming the Baywatch reboot for FOX alongside fellow SI model Brooks Nader. Dunne will be playing a recurring role as a junior lifeguard named Grace.
Looking back, at 20 years old, while still a competing gymnast at LSU, she made her editorial debut with SI Swimsuit in 2023. Next, in 2024, she was featured in the 60th Anniversary issue. In 2025, Dunne was named one of four “Cover Stars” alongside Salma Hayek Pinault, Jordan Chiles, and Lauren Chan.
She retired from competitive gymnastics on April 17. Her final season at LSU concluded after the Tigers finished third in the NCAA semifinals. However, she was unable to compete in that final meet due to a kneecap fracture (avulsion fracture of the patella) sustained earlier that season.
Jake Ferguson’s Fiancée Haley Cavinder Made Her SI Swimsuit Debut in 2026
Former Miami Hurricanes star Haley Cavinder debuted as a digital cover model for the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue on Feb. 5. The shoot took place at Captiva Island, where Cavinder wore a black bikini with a cowboy-style hat. She was photographed by Katherine Goguen.
Cavinder was part of a special NFL WAGs digital feature alongside Brittany Mahomes and Claire Kittle.
However, Haley Cavinder had already collaborated with the brand before.
In 2024, she and her twin sister, Hanna, walked on the ramp at the SI Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week.
