Caitlin Clark on her game-winning shot against the Washington Mystics

On Monday, the Indiana Fever defeated the Washington Mystics 78-76 at the 11th hour. The game-winning shot was a triple, courtesy of none other than Caitlin Clark. After the game, she described her shot:

“Cotie (McMahon) almost got a fingertip on (the inbounds pass),” Clark said postgame. “It kind of worked out perfectly that she went for the steal, and honestly, probably the most wide open shot I had all night, so my hands got a little clammy, but still went in, I guess.”

Clark was the Fever’s top scorer on the night, racking up 19 points, while also recording three rebounds and five assists.
