The Indiana Fever won a blockbuster game vs the Washington Mystics. And Caitlin Clark was at the center of it all. She buried a long range three pointer from a Sophie Cunningham pass. Fever won 78-76 in the dying seconds.
It was another bounce back win for the Fever after loss vs the Liberty. And it was a vital one. Moreover, the manner in which they won certainly boosted their morale. However, there was one moment where fans suspected something unusual. Caitlin Clark’s expression changed just when she high five’d head coach White.
Sophie Cunningham later shared a post on her Instagram account. The post included an AI generated picture that joked about Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham not following Stephanie White’s plan for the play that led to the game winning three-pointer.
Many fans speculated that them not following the plan was the reason behind the cold exchange between Caitlin Clark and Stephanie White. Other than that, most fans were just happy that they did not follow the play as it led to a famous win.
