She finished the game with just 3 rebounds and 3 turnovers in limited minutes and sat the remainder of the game on the bench.
If Brink wants to justify her role as LA’s long-term No. 1 defensive presence, games like this have to become a thing of the past. Kelsey Plum had a team-high 27 points, while Nneka Ogwumike and Dearica Hamby also finished in double figures. They’ll need a stronger response in their game against the Fever.
