Where to Watch Dallas Wings vs Indiana Fever Game? TV Details, Online Streaming Options and More (May 9)

The day has finally arrived! After nearly seven months, the Indiana Fever officially tip off their 2026 season against the Dallas Wings on Saturday. The Fever will be aiming to get their campaign started on the right foot by picking up a victory against a Dallas side that finished last regular season at the bottom of the league standings.

The Wings, on the other hand, are aiming for a fresh start after a disappointing campaign last season. This year’s roster features multiple new additions, including the Wings’ 2026 first overall pick, Azzi Fudd.

What makes this game interesting is that it will feature the last four years’ No. 1 picks going head-to-head, with Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark on the Fever side and Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd on the Wings side. It might not be a surprise to see all of them in the starting lineup.

Where to Watch Dallas Wings vs Indiana Fever Season Opener?

The season opener between the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever will be available to U.S. viewers live on ABC Network through national television feeds. The live streaming options for the marquee matchup will be Disney+, ESPN app and Fubo. International fans can watch the matchup through WNBA League Pass. The game is slated for a 1 p.m. tipoff at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana.

What to expect from Dallas Wings vs. Indiana Fever?

Results-wise in the preseason, both teams had quite a successful run. Dallas won all two of their games, while the Fever went 2-1, with their only loss coming against the Wings. The Wings’ other win was a 101-84 victory against the reigning champion Las Vegas Aces.

Indiana returned to winning ways in their season opener last season after losing the previous five season openers. Meanwhile, Dallas lost last season’s opener to the Minnesota Lynx.

Indiana reached the WNBA semifinals last season without Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham. Still, Fever coach Stephanie White has revamped the roster by bringing in several key additions ahead of the new season. Monique Billings, a free-agent arrival, has already gelled with the lineup and looks set to play a major role when the campaign tips off. Myisha Hines-Allen and Tyasha Harris are other notable additions, along with rookies Raven Johnson and Justine Pissott, who were drafted this year.

For the Wings, they retained the main core of Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale, along with drafting Azzi Fudd as the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft. They also signed Alanna Smith and Jessica Shepard, while bringing in veteran guards Alysha Clark and Odyssey Sims.
