Caitlin Clark has consistently been criticized for her offensive woes and ongoing altercations with officials. Former player-turned-analyst Swin Cash has been the flag-bearer for the argument that the Fever star’s behavior toward refs was one of the reasons her game has suffered.
In the last game against the Chicago Sky on Thursday, Clark was clinical and took the team to consecutive wins. She dropped a double-double in the 114-106 overtime victory.
However, after the game, while other analysts hailed Clark’s stellar shooting performance, Swin was still stuck on her tussles with refs. She said:
“I like the fact that she had a certain temperament where we didn’t see as much interaction with the refs, and she was just out there playing her game, and the leadership you could see, even when she got a foul that she thought happened on the floor. She looked, got up, and went back on the other end.”
One fan did not like Swin continuing to discuss Clark’s tussles with officials, even when other analysts praised her efficiency. The user wrote:
“Annoying and tiring.”
Another user claimed that the analyst was a UConn supporter and wrote:
“She’s UConn mafia … “
One more fan praised Clark for her performance and wrote:
“She stood up for herself tonight and it paid off did it not.”
Another fan agreed with the analyst and wrote:
“I thought CC was great with the refs, she really shook off the bad calls and kept balling.”
One more fan highlighted an area of improvement and wrote:
“She made her 1st 3, none there after But she’s looking better”

Caitlin Clark looked comfortable with her jumpers, though she is still far from her usual self from deep. Moreover, Aliyah Boston led the team with 34 points, as the duo made history in the game.
Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark make history in the win over Sky
Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark became the first duo in WNBA history to score double-doubles together in a game. The forward contributed 34 points and 12 rebounds, while Clark added 32 points and 10 assists. The two created some serious pick-and-rolls that were hard to predict, and the Fever guard played an all-around game.
While Clark shot 15-for-15 free throws, her efficiency from deep is still not back in form. She made just one of her six 3-pointers. The team will now meet the Connecticut Sun and look to extend the winning run.
