    “Never Seen Paige Bueckers Like This”: Fans React As Wings Star And Olivia Miles Exchange Heated Words After Jessica Shepard Collision

    Paige Bueckers and Olivia Miles met in the WNBA for the first time on June 28th when the Mynnesota Lynx got the better of the Dallas Wings. The lynx won 85-77 in their first meeting this season. Bueckers had a decent outing and so did the rookies Azzi Fudd and Miles. However, there was one incident between Bueckers and Miles during 2nd quarter which caught everyone’s eyes.

    Bueckers and Miles seemed to exchange a few words after a foul was called on Miles. The Dallas star seemed more animated than the Minnesota rookie. This drew huge reaction from the fans. Some appreciated the competitive banter and some picked their sides.

    Bueckers’ reaction came after her teammate Jessica Shepard was fouled by the Lynx rookie. Miles got into Shepard’s face as she tried to grab the ball.

    Miles fell down after the contact as Shepard reactively shoved her away. Wings star gave her a little stare as the rookie picked herself up.

    Olivia Miles’ Minnesota Lynx beat Paige Bueckers’ Dallas Wings

    The Lynx got back to winning ways and continued their good form with a convincing win vs the Wings. Although, the team from Dallas did have their moments yet it wasn’t a difficult win for Minnesota.

    Olivia Miles and Natasha Howard led the Lynx with 21 points each. Howard ended up with a double-double featuring 14 rebounds. Miles had 3 rebounds and 8 assists. Kayla McBride scored 17 points while Courtney Williams also contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

    For the Wings, Bueckers led the court with 25 points in 36 minutes. She also had 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Azzi Fudd also scored 21 points with 3 assists and 4 steals. Jessica Shepard had 8 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists. Maddy Siegrist chipped in with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
