Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks Projected Starting Lineups, Injury Reports and More For Tonight (May 13) | 2026 WNBA Season

The Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks meet in Wednesday’s marquee clash at the Crypto.com Arena. Both teams were off to a losing start in the 2026 WNBA season and will hope to turn things around in their second game. The Fever lost 107-104 to the Dallas Wings despite a late rally. They trailed nine at one point and made it a one-possession game in the clutch.

However, the Wings capitalized on having the lead to fend off the Fever’s challenge. Caitlin Clark missed the game-tying shot from 31 feet with 7.4 seconds left. The Fever got another lifeline after Paige Bueckers missed her free throws and it remained a one-possession game. However, it was Kelsey Mitchell’s chance to miss a shot from 31 feet this time with 0.7 seconds on the clock.

The Fever have work to do defensively, but they impressed on offense, barring the late-game miscues. The big three of Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell all shone; Clark had 20 points and seven assists, Boston added 23 points and three assists, while Mitchell scored a game-high 30 points with four assists.

On the other hand, the Sparks faced a blowout loss at home against the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces. After trailing by 14 in the first quarter, Los Angeles fought back in the second and trimmed the deficit to one entering halftime. However, that was the last time the Sparks controlled the game.

The second half was lopsided as the Aces outscored the Sparks 63-37 to win 105-78. Kelsey Plum and Nneka Ogwumike were the only notable contributors. Plum scored 27 points on 10 of 18 shots, including four 3s. Ogwumike had 19 points and 10 rebounds on 7 of 15 shots.
