Caitlin Clark was fangirling over Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull’s swimwear shoot by her fiancé, Will Matthiessen. Hull enjoyed a getaway with Matthiessen in Cabo San Lukas, Mexico, spending most of her time at the beach. Through her latest Instagram post, Hull shared glimpses of her time at the beach in multiple swimsuit outfits.
She also posted pictures of her fiancé. Clark and several other Fever and WNBA players flooded Hull’s comments, impressed with her attire and Matthiessen’s skills with the camera. Here’s what Clark said in one of the comments:
“Hot.”
In another comment, she complimented Matthiessen’s photography:
“Didn’t know Will also does photography. Amazing news.”
Dearica Hamby, Aliyah Boston, Aerial Powers and Lexie Brown were among other notable former and current players who commented on the post.
Lexie Hull earned a well-deserved break after she had a gruelling season of basketball, as she also participated in the 3×3 Unrivaled league for the second year in a row. She played 13 games for the Rose BC, averaging 4.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals. Before that, she appeared in all 44 games for the Indiana Fever in the 2025 season, averaging 7.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 1.2 spg.
Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever face key decision surrounding Lexie Hull in free agency
Lexie Hull is a restricted free agent this offseason. The Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever have a key decision to make around the former No. 6 pick, as they would either need to protect her in the expansion draft or release her. If they do, the Toronto Tempo or the Portland Fire could select their rights.
Hull is a critical piece alongside Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, who is also a free agent and likely to return. Hull has experienced consecutive career-best seasons since Clark joined the team. Her defense and 3-point shooting have been huge in the Fever’s success in that span, and losing her could be a significant blow.
For now, re-signing Kelsey Mitchell is the Fever’s priority, as they can continue to field a trio of All-Stars with her, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, a luxury not many teams boast. Clark and Boston are still on their rookie deals, giving the Fever enough salary cap flexibility to plug other holes after retaining Mitchell.
