Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson’s relationship with her coach, Becky Hammon, continues to become as close as ever. Hammon became the main shot-caller for the Las Vegas-based franchise back in the 2022 WNBA season. Since then, Wilson has been her No. 1 option, and they have won the 2022, 2023, and 2025 championships. This year, they are attempting to win back-to-back league titles.
“ Becky, don’t come talk to me. Becky’s about to…Don’t come talk to me,” Wilson said to Hammon. (0:05)

A’ja Wilson detailed how the Las Vegas Aces will deal with her absence
“ I think it’s all of us, and we said that. It’s gonna take all of us. Obviously, I hate I can’t be out there, but you know, man down, man up. And, I think it’s each and every last individual out there on that court just believing that they can do what they do when we need them to do it the most. But, obviously, we’re gonna look to see Jackie Young kind of come alive here, but I think the energy just coming off of each individual,” Wilson shared. (0:55)
