“The Jealousy is Hilarious”: Caitlin Clark Fans Bash Angel Reese For Mocking Fever Star’s Reaction to Getting Hit

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese put on a show in their second duel of the 2026 WNBA season on Thursday night. Clark went off for 26 points and seven assists on 8 of 17 shots, while Reese finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds on 8 of 14 shots. The Dream won 108-101, tying the season series 1-1.

As always, the game didn’t end without some theatrics going viral from either player. It was Reese this time who was in the spotlight. The Dream forward mocked her rival early in the second quarter after they tangled up on the Fever’s offensive possession. Clark ran full speed to get to the other side of the floor, but bumped into Reese, who was guarding that pick-and-roll.

Reese extended her elbow to stop Clark and the Fever star seemingly took a hit. Shortly after, Reese mocked Clark’s reaction to suggest the Fever star flopped after the referee whistled at her for a foul. Here’s the video (via X/@ShowCaseShabazz):

Clark’s fans didn’t let that slip as the clip surfaced on social media and garnered well over half a million reactions via multiple users. Here are some of the reactions:

Angel Reese finally gets her long-awaited second WNBA win against Caitlin Clark’s team

Angel Reese has faced a difficult time against the Caitlin Clark-led Indiana Fever since the duo entered the WNBA. In their head-to-head games, Clark had a 5-1 advantage before Thursday’s showdown. The only win Reese had came back in June 2024 when they were rookies.

Thursday’s game could have gone either way as well. However, the Dream held on in the clutch amid Clark’s foul trouble. The Fever superstar picked up five fouls and was limited to only 4:45 minutes of action in the final stretch. Clark took just one attempt in that period and was scoreless.

Meanwhile, Reese scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds, emerging as the clutch player of the game. She shot 2 of 4 and was 3 of 5 from the free-throw line. The Dream’s win saw them improve to 10-4, while the Fever’s four-game winning run ended. They are now 9-6 on the season.
