The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Shilo Sanders as an undrafted free agent. The 25-year-old was ranked as the No. 382 overall prospect in this class and the No. 29 overall safety.
Sanders started his college football career in South Carolina and played 13 games in two seasons. He recorded 32 tackles and one tackle for loss, and was named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll in 2019.

How Sanders Went From Trinity High to South Carolina
After two seasons with South Carolina, Sanders moved with his father, Deion Sanders, to Jackson State and Colorado. He recorded 137 combined tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception, and five passes defensed in 21 games across two seasons for the Buffaloes.
The defensive back was a four-star recruit and an Under Armour All-American after coming out of Trinity Christian High School in Texas. He played a key role in the high school team’s perfect 14-0 record, leading them to a TAPPS Division II state championship. He stood out as a cornerback, receiver, and returner, and was rated the No. 753 player nationally and the No. 69 cornerback.
Sanders was a three-star recruit in the 2019 recruiting class out of Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas, and reportedly rejected offers from Florida State, Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, and Colorado State to sign for South Carolina.
