Every team across the country has put forth their best efforts in 2023, and through four weeks of action, those players deserve notoriety for what they’ve put forth this season.

Good: Bob Schick, RG
Tech’s right guard has been on one this season. He’s a great pass protector but perhaps an even better run blocker. Bob Schick has shown that this season.
Great: Keli Lawson, LB
Leading the charge with 41 total tackles, Keli Lawson is more than just a guy in the right place at the right time, he’s an instinctual freak with great strength at the point of contact.
Grand: Dorian Strong, CB
The longtime Tech cornerback is up to his usual tricks for the Hokies. Dorian Strong has an interception and two pass breakups as he’s shown he can still limit opposing WR1s in coverage.
Wonderful: Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE
If you’d believe it, Antwaun Powell-Ryland immediately made a splash for Tech in 2023. Transferring in from Florida, his best game came in Week 1 against ODU, but he’s been a consistent force off the edge for the Hokies.
