Ty Simpson’s family is entering an important phase with high stakes for both the new Los Angeles Rams quarterback and his brother. As Ty gets ready to win over the Rams, Graham is getting ready to win over college scouts. Before entering the 2026 season, Graham wanted to send a clear message to coaches and recruits who overlook him.
In a statement made via Rivals on Instagram in a post on Wednesday, Graham issued a warning.
“If another quarterback gets picked over me, I’m going to show those coaches why they should’ve recruited me harder,” he said.
The message is one of preemptive hostility and a common tactic by recruits in an attempt to add a sense of stress and fear of missing out among recruiters. Fans agree that the results can be mixed, with the most prestigious programs seldom bending to a recruit’s demands.
Still, Graham’s abilities will do most of the talking over the coming years, with the quarterback on track to graduate from high school in 2028.
Potential Landing Spots For Ty Simpson’s Brother
While his high school exit is still years away, Ty Simpson’s brother Graham has already seen interest from several colleges, per 247 Sports. He has received interest from schools such as the Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas Longhorns, and Tennessee Volunteers. However, one team might stand out more than the others.
The Alabama Crimson Tide is one of the many colleges that have made Simpson an offer. With his brother coming off an impressive 2025 run with the team that led to a first-round selection in the 2026 NFL draft, Graham has a chance to follow in his brother’s footsteps.
Graham is set to continue his high school career at Westview High School, located in Martin, Tennessee. As such, location could play a key factor in his ultimate decision depending on what he wants. Will he travel as far as his brother did or go on an entirely new path?
Of course, Simpson has time to ponder his next move as offers pile up.
