    Tulane Injury Report

As it stands right now, the Green Wave are relatively healthy. The only players nursing injuries are K Patrick Durkin and WR Shazz Preston, but neither player has played all season long.

    Tulane Draft Prospects

Tulane QB Darian Mensah NFL Draft Profile

Just a redshirt freshman, Darian Mensah has a bit before he’s seen as a likely pick in the NFL Draft. However, after what he’s shown in 2024, there is no doubt he’s already on the radar for NFL teams.

At 6’3″ and 200 pounds, with his arm talent and his athleticism, Mensah will likely have to take the proverbial next step in 2025 before encroaching on the first two days of the draft, but all signs point toward that happening sooner than later. Mensah will need to hone in on those “NFL Throws,” or throws that every NFL QB is expected to make 100% of the time next fall.

2026 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 2-5

Tulane RB Makhi Hughes NFL Draft Profile

The RB Factory that is Tulane is set to produce another gem in Makhi Hughes.  A career five-and-a-half-yard rusher, Hughes has breakaway ability and yards-after-contact all in one, incredibly tough-to-tackle frame.

MORE: Take the CFN Mock Draft Simulator for a spin!

With his speed and his athleticism, Hughes is a sure-fire draft pick when he declares.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 3-6

Tulane WR Mario Williams NFL Draft Profile

Former USC and Oklahoma WR Mario Williams is absolutely on the radar of NFL scouts and has been for some time. Playing with quarterbacks such as Spencer Rattler and Caleb Williams, Mario’s most successful and consistent season has been 2024, with Mensah slinging it his way.

Williams has broken out in multiple games, and save for a couple of costly drops, has played consistent football from a variety of alignments. He translates to a slot receiver in the NFL, where he can use his shiftiness and quick twitch ability regularly while honing his route tree from an inside alignment.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 4-7

Tulane WR Dontae Fleming NFL Draft Profile

The bigger of Tulane’s receivers, Dontae Fleming, plays like a smaller pass catcher with his ability to fire off the ball and stack defenders quickly on the outside. Fleming is 6’2″ and 167 pounds, and he likely needs to add some muscle before he can compete in the NFL.

I don’t expect him to make an immediate impact in his rookie season, but Fleming is a potential next-level WR2.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 5-7

Tulane WR Phat Watts NFL Draft Profile

There’s much to-do around Phat Watts’ availability and, well, to be honest, his role on this team. He was dismissed by Willie Fritz in 2023 just to be allowed back on the team this past spring by Sumrall. He’s played in three games this season but has not been targeted.

When healthy, Watts is as dynamic and dominant as his brother, Deuce Watts, a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad all last season. Phat has a similar skill set, if not a bit more savvy after the catch.

If he’s on the right path, despite essentially not playing at all in 2024 essentially, Watts is a likely candidate to surprise some as an undrafted free agent signing by a local team or a team with a connection.

    2025 NFL Draft Projection: UDFA

Tulane WR Yulkeith Brown NFL Draft Profile

Former Texas A&M WR Yulkeith Brown has made his name known as a member of the Green Wave in each of the past two seasons. A projected interior wide receiver, Brown has the requisite sure hands and dominant inside and outside releases to make his name known as a potential WR3 or WR4 in the NFL.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 6-7/Priority UDFA

Tulane TE Alex Bauman NFL Draft Profile

At 6’5″ and 245 pounds, Alex Bauman has the size and athleticism to play on Sundays. He hasn’t quite been targeted nor as schemed open in 2024, but his skill set is not in question. In fact, his ability to block in the ground game has shown this season, making him an even more well-rounded option for NFL scouts to asses.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 5-7

Tulane OT Derrick Graham NFL Draft Profile

Derrick Graham immediately added an impact starter for the Green Wave, following head coach Sumrall over from Troy. While Graham has ample strength, his run blocking took a steep up turn when the Green Wave. There’s a lot to like about Graham’s play, and he comes fully equipped with right tackle and left tackle experience.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 6-7

Tulane OG Shadre Hurst NFL Draft Profile

A two-year starter at left guard (with right guard experience), Shadre Hurst has ample strength for a man his size, and has improved his pass protection the past two years. It’s likely a long shot now; steady improvement into Year 3 as a starter would do Hurst wonders.

2026 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 5-7

Tulane C Vincent Murphy NFL Draft Profile

The veteran of the group, Vincent Murphy started for two seasons at Western Kentucky, having spent three years at South Carolina prior. Now at Tulane, Murphy looks better than ever. At 6’2″ and 304 pounds, Murphy has great lateral movement and is a punishing run blocker. It’s not a sexy pick, but Murphy has the makeup of a surefire starter at the next level with a plethora of experience on the inside.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 6-7

Tulane OG Josh Remetich NFL Draft Profile

Now five years into his Tulane career, Josh Remetich is currently undergoing a career-best season in all facets. A stalwart on the ground, Remetich has taken the next step with his clean-pocket prowess in the pass game. He has a lot of wear on his tires, but he’s fully equipped with a great skill set at guard.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Priority UDFA

Tulane OT Rashad Green NFL Draft Profile

We saved the best for last, at least on the offensive line, with Tulane RT Rashad Green. The CFN Offensive Tackle of the Year from 2023 has elite pass-blocking skills, is a stout run blocker, and a bonafide athlete on the outside. At 6’4″ and 300 pounds, he may have to kick inside at the NFL level, but he’s more than equipped to do so with his athleticism.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 3-5

Tulane DL Adin Huntington NFL Draft Profile

It didn’t take long for Adin Huntingto to make his mark on the Sun Belt after transferring to UL-Monroe from Kent State in 2023. After a dominant year with the WarHawks, Huntington made his move to the AAC via his transfer to Tulane. Though he hasn’t quite had the impact this season with the Green Wave in 2024, it’s no indictment on his talent, it’s mainly because of the depth along the defensive front.

However, Huntington is absolutely a terror to offensive lines at the collegiate level and the NFL level. He has positional versatility and can play any number of alignments, all with the same skill. Huntington’s motor won’t stop and he has a savviness to his pass-rushing skill set.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 4-6

Tulane DL Patrick Jenkins NFL Draft Profile

A human missile of epic proportions, Patrick Jenkins has been the thorn in many an offensive lineman’s side for five years now, three of which at elite levels with Tulane. He’ll rip through any offensive lineman in front of him or simply blow up the spot of undersized or out-muscled lineman all the same.

Jenkins can play aginst the run, take on double teams, or just simply get up field whether he’s heads-up on a center or shading in off a tackle.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 2-4

Tulane DL Kameron Hamilton NFL Draft Profile

Don’t take our word for it, but the Tulane defensive line is absolutely stacked. Which makes it all the more impressive that Kameron Hamilton has made the impact he has over the past three seasons.

For those unaware, Hamilton is legally deaf. And yes, that will absolutely affect his NFL Draft status, but his talent should warrant him being selected in the 2026 NFL Draft. He’s evolved in front of our eyes the past three years into a pass-rushing menace and a terrific situation pass rusher for the Green Wave.

He has ample size, terrific strength, and can play in any defensive front.

2026 NFL Draft Projection: Priority UDFA

Tulane DE Matthew Fobbs-White NFL Draft Profile

Only a true sophomore, Matthew Fobbs-White is still making his name known. However, after just a flash in 2023 and now a dominant string of performances in 2024, Fobbs-White is well on his way to doing just that.

For the NFL, Fobbs-White is a unique athlete, almost in the vein of a Micah Parsons. He can play in space, rush the passer, and come downhill in the run game. He’s best suited for a 3-4 outside linebacker role in the NFL, but he can get his hands dirty with great success as a down-lineman.

In 2025, Fobbs-White will absolutely be all over the NFL Draft radar, but you heard it here first.

2026 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 2-4

Tulane CB Rayshawn Pleasant NFL Draft Profile

Rayshawn Pleasant will have NFL Draft scouts drooling all over his skill set as a cornerback and willing (and elite) contributor on special teams next season, if they aren’t already. Pleasant has multiple highlight-reel plays off returns, and he’s coming into his own as a cornerback.

Pleasant has ripped off an interception and a pass breakup, but he’s started to showcase his ability to stick with receivers in space, moving just as well in reverse as he does going forward. At 6’0″ and 185 pounds, he’s already got great size to go with his elite speed that will do him wonders at the next level.

2026 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 2-4

Tulane CB Micah Robinson NFL Draft Profile

Micah Robinson spent four seasons at Furman before making the move to Tulane. And it’s paid off for him in spades. He’s shown he can be a vital contributor on defense, making a handful of pass breakups and an interception so far in 2024.

Robinson has great coverage skills, and has shown he can make multiple plays in space against the run. He’s flying well under the radar now, but with his experience, some NFL team will gladly secure his services.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Priority UDFA

Tulane S Caleb Ransaw NFL Draft Profile

After three years at Troy and a dominant final season in 2023, Caleb Ransaw also followed head coach Sumrall to Tulane. He’s playing a bit different of a role on defense in 2024, but he’s shown he can lockdown pass catchers of all size from the slot.

Lining him up close to the line of scrimmage has shown he can match up against tight ends and running backs in the flats, just as he can cover receivers playing inside from the slot as well. Ransaw has coverage abilities and runs downhill like a linebacker.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Rounds 5-7

Tulane S Jalen Geiger NFL Draft Profile

Jalen Geiger played five seasons at Kentucky before transferring to Tulane in 2024, and he’s making it worthwhile. At 6’1″ and 205 pounds, Geiger has NFL size and plays better as a free safety where he can roam the field and the deep thirds.

Geiger has speed and instincts like an NFLer, but his skills when he gets closer to the line of scrimmage need some work. Playing in a system in the NFL that rotates multiple safeties will be his sticking point.

2025 NFL Draft Projection: Priority UDFA

Tulane CB Lu Tillery NFL Draft Profile

Another UL-Monroe to Tulane transfer, Lu Tillery hasn’t quite found his footing at Tulane, but has another year of eligibility left following 2024. If he so chooses to return to do so (and he likely should), he can hopefully return to the form that saw him dominant on the outside for the WarHawks in 2023.

He has good size, better speed, and a stickiness in coverage that few have. Getting back into the lineup on a more consistent basis to show that off in 2025 will be key.

2026 NFL Draft Projection: Priority UDFA
