Serena Williams is enjoying her life with family and friends since retiring from the sport in 2022. The tennis legend is happily married to Alexis Ohanian, and together they are proud parents of two daughters, Olympia and Adira River, born in September 2017 and August 2023, respectively.
Williams has turned into a full-fledged entrepreneur, looking after various business ventures while embracing motherhood. In her latest Instagram story, the former World No. 1 gave a glimpse into some blissful moments with her daughters, as they visited an amusement park.
Before starting on one of the rides, Williams could be heard saying: “Alright, we are on the next ride, here we go, about to get started.” After that ride was over, both Williams and Olympia had miffed expressions on their faces when the 23-time Major winner exclaimed, “I hated that, I am not doing it again.”

Williams has been an icon of the sport, dominating the WTA circuit for more than two decades, during which she not only won multiple singles Grand Slam titles but also countless doubles titles, mostly alongside her elder sister, Venus Williams. Serena is the only player to achieve a career golden slam in both singles and doubles.
Serena Williams’ Comeback Rumors Gaining Traction After Former ATP Pro Backs the Claims
Serena Williams had sparked comeback rumors after entering the tennis doping programme last year. The American is arguably in the best shape of her life after she admitted to taking weight loss drugs in public.
While the rumors are swirling around, with analysts and fans predicting when and where she might make her comeback, former World No. 1 Jim Courier gave his take on the matter in an exclusive interview with Wide World of Sports in Melbourne.
“You have an app, it’s called the Whereabouts program… It’s a huge hassle. The players all moan and groan about it… And if you miss three tests over the course of 12 months, that’s the same as failing a drug test, so you are out for a while,” Courier said.
“So no person that doesn’t have intentions to play professional tennis is going to put themselves in that list, especially someone who has as much experience doing it as Serena Williams,” he added.
“Serena denied she’s coming back, but I think, unless she gets injured, there is no doubt she’s going to play somewhere at some point. Whether that’s the mixed doubles at the US Open, whether that’s doubles with her sister (Venus) somewhere, whether it’s singles, only she knows. But there’s no other way to interpret that,” Courier concluded.
While fans eagerly anticipate the tennis legend’s return to the court, only Williams can chart her future course.
