Jannik Sinner Letting Lose At Olympic Champ Mondo Duplantis’ Wedding In Rare Public Sighting Drives Tennis World Crazy

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner attended and enjoyed his good friend Mondo Duplantis’s wedding in Stockholm, Sweden, earlier this March. Duplantis married his longtime partner, Desire Inglander, in a private ceremony at Stockholm City Hall.

The event was small and straightforward, primarily because Swedish law requires couples to register their marriage before holding a ceremony elsewhere. A larger celebration is planned for later this year in Cannes, France, and is expected to feature prominent figures from the sports and business worlds.

While the wedding happened more than two months ago, a hilarious picture from the ceremony is still making the rounds on social media, showing a presumably inebriated Sinner enjoying himself with the groom and his father on either side of him.

Some fans were quick to share their reactions to the viral image, posting hilarious comments on social media.

“Mondo’s wedding, and Mondo’s dad is in the pic!” one fan commented.

“Oh my god, Drunknik, you are so important to me,” another fan commented.

“Wimbledon party?” yet another fan commented.

Duplantis and Sinner are good friends, as are their partners. The duo has previously been spotted together at golf outings and other social events. Sinner and Duplantis had a lively encounter during the Laureus Sports Award ceremony in April at the Cibeles Palace in Madrid, Spain.

After Disappointment in Paris, Jannik Sinner Will Now Set His Eyes on Wimbledon

Sinner was defeated by Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the second round of the French Open, losing in five sets while struggling with physical problems. He is now expected to turn his attention to Wimbledon, a highly prestigious and sought-after tournament.

Last year, Sinner won his first Wimbledon title by defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the final, ending Alcaraz’s perfect 5-0 record in major finals and becoming the first Italian to win a singles title at the All England Club.

Before this year’s Wimbledon, Sinner opted not to play in the Halle Open, where he has competed the past three years. Journalist Luigi Ansaloni confirmed that the Italian will continue training in Monte Carlo until Tuesday, then head to England for Wimbledon. Sinner will be the heavy favorite to defend his crown in London.
