What did Jannik Sinner say after advancing to the Wimbledon final?
Jannik Sinner progressed to the Wimbledon final after securing a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 win over Novak Djokovic in the semifinal on Friday at Centre Court. Speaking during his post-match press conference, the Italian said he was happy to reach the final. Admitting it was a tough match against the Serb, he said:
“Yeah, very happy being back in the finals here. Very tough match today, but it was a good performance from my side, so I’m very happy,” said Jannik Sinner.
Looking ahead to the final against Zverev, he said:
“I mean less exchanges less rhythm. It’s this we know because of the surface, you know, being that fast. Being also quite warm, it’s going to be good for a big server and he’s definitely a big server. But in any case, look, I tried to do my best on Sunday. It feels good again being back in a Grand Slam final. It’s good for me and then I just try to do my best.”
