Iga Swiatek announced her arrival in Stuttgart as she returns for the 2026 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix to begin her clay season. The tournament will run from April 13-19, where the Polish star will look to potentially win her third title after becoming champion in the 2022 and 2023 editions.
Taking to Instagram, Swiatek posted a photo of herself standing near the net on the court. She mentions fellow WTA star Eva Lys took the photograph in which a yellow Porsche can be seen on a big screen.
“Hi @porschetennis 👋🏻 Let the clay szn begin 🔥” Swiatek captioned the post.
Behind the scenes, Porsche Tennis’ X account shared how Lys was trying to capture Swiatek as both had some friendly conversation about cars.
The tournament in Stuttgart is famous for awarding a Porsche sports car to the champion. Swiatek should already have two by now. Meanwhile, Lys is part of the Porsche ecosystem as a “Friend of the Brand.”
The moment between the two stars delighted the fans on the internet.

Iga Swiatek Training With 14-time Roland Garros Champion
Iga Swiatek is going through a rough patch with multiple early exits in 2026 already. In the 2026 Miami Open, she went down in the Round of 64, suggesting she is not in good touch ahead of the clay season.
In order to return to form, she has hired Rafael Nadal’s former coach, Francisco Roig, and the two were seen training at the 14-time Roland Garros champion’s tennis academy in Mallorca.
Several videos involving Nadal, Roig and Swiatek are going viral over the internet. In some videos, Nadal is even seen giving her tips on Swiatek’s forehand.
Swiatek is a four-time French Open champion and she’ll be looking to add to her tally of six Grand Slams by winning her fifth Roland Garros this clay season.
