Aryna Sabalenka was recently confronted by a young man during what appears to be a dinner with her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis and another girl. Frangulis put the young man in his place by keeping calm despite his rant.
In the video, NYC comedian Aris Yeager can be seen scolding the Belarusian for wearing and spending so much on jewellery, particularly diamonds.
“You wear so many diamonds, it’s like you’re trying to show off constantly, like you’re not that kind of person,” Yeager said.
In response, Sabalenka made him aware of her interest in such stuff, as she is a “Slavic girl.” Yeager then went on to educate Sabalenka, suggesting she is spending her “new money.”
“You’re a new money person and it’s fine,” Yeager said. “I’m here to educate you as someone who is old money and I want you to know that it’s obnoxious to walk around with so much diamonds.”
“You Slavic people, you guys wear too much,” Yeager added. “You try, you flex too much. These are, this is too loud.”
Frangulis, who was sitting nearby and watching this conversation unfold, stepped in, but before he could make his point about affordability, Yeager boasted that he could buy the same diamond ring for his girl, too. Finally, Sabalenka’s partner put the comedian in his place, pointing out that the bracelet Yeager was wearing was easily available in Mykonos.
Fans, who listened to this entire conversation, put their remarks in the comments section. Most of them called out the comedian while giving respect to Sabalenka.

Aryna Sabalenka Withdraws From Stuttgart Open
Aryna Sabalenka has shockingly withdrawn her name from the 2026 Stuttgart Open, where she has been a four-time finalist. The tournament starts on April 13.
In the previous four editions of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Sabalenka has been denied the luxury car by Ash Barty (2021), Iga Swiatek (2022 and 2023), and Jelena Ostapenko (2025).
Sabalenka picked up an injury at the Miami Open and she doesn’t want to aggravate it by participating in the Stuttgart Open. She previously sat out of the Middle East Swing as well and returned to win the Sunshine Double. She is aiming for the Roland Garros title this year, and therefore, she is managing her schedule carefully.
