Eugenie Bouchard and Coco Gauff reacted to Team USA women’s hockey’s third Olympic gold after they defeated Canada 2-1 in an overtime thriller. The win earned them the gold medal at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, their third overall in the games. They have previously won in 1998 and 2018.
Canada took the early lead with a short-handed goal by Kristin O’Neill. Appearing in her fifth Olympics, Hilary Knight tied the game late in the third period. She became the all-time leading U.S. Olympic scorer in the sport. The deciding goal came from Megan Keller, who scored 4:07 into overtime. Team USA goalie Aerin Frankel played a key role with 30 saves.
After the win, Bouchard went on Instagram and reshared a hilarious reel showing how one of her friends reacted when Team USA defeated Canada in women’s hockey at the Winter Games. The video showed a Canadian breaking the TV using a chainsaw. The TV was playing the hockey game between Team USA and Canada.
Meanwhile, Coco Gauff also shared graphics hailing the women’s team for their third Olympic victory.

Coco Gauff Might Be Unhappy With Current Serving Coach
Coco Gauff has been struggling with her serve for nearly a year now. She won the 2025 Roland Garros, but for the major portion of the year, her deep runs in the tournaments were hindered by inconsistent serving and a high frequency of double faults.
She even hired serve coaching specialist Gavin MacMillan before the 2025 US Open to address the issue. The coach has previously helped World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka get over her serving troubles a few years ago.
Despite that, Gauff has still not fully overcome the serve issue. In her recent semifinal loss against Elina Svitolina, there came a point where she slammed her coach after she committed a double fault in the third set.
“I’ve been doing everything you’ve wanted for the last 6 months…” Gauff said.
Gauff committed 12 double faults in that game, resulting in a three-set loss against Svitolina, who recorded her second straight win against the American. She previously defeated Gauff in the 2026 Australian Open quarterfinals as well. Gauff then played in Doha where she was defeated in the second round only.
Her next stop would be at Indian Wells in California, USA.
