Jessica Pegula, Diana Shnaider, Madison Keys, Belinda Bencic, Iva Jovic, and Anna Kalinskaya are set to vie against each other in the quarterfinals at the 2026 Charleston Open. The elite tennis players will square off on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Credit One Stadium in South Carolina.

Pegula kicked off her 2026 season by entering the Australian Open semifinal round and followed it by clinching her fourth career WTA 1000 title at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. After making a remarkable run at the Sunshine Double before losing to Elena Rybakina in both the quarterfinal matches, Pegula appeared at the Charleston Open as a defending champion.

She has cruised her way to the quarterfinal round, where she will compete against 7th-seeded Diana Shnaider. They will compete against each other for the third time, with the American leading the head-to-head score 2-0. Pegula defeated Shnaider 6-4, 6-2 in their previous match at the 2024 US Open. Their faceoff will be followed by Madison Keys vs Belinda Bencic’s match. Keys, who entered the tournament as the fifth seed, leads the head-to-head score against Bencic with 3-2 wins. Both players earned a bye in the first round of the tournament.

Their last faceoff was at the 2025 Indian Wells Masters, where the American dominated. The fifth and third seeds have previously competed at the WTA 500 level in 2022, a tournament dominated by the Swiss player. Keys has reached the quarterfinals after defeating Donna Vekic in the second round with a 6-2, 6-3 win and Anna Bondar in the third round with a 6-2, 7-5 score. Bencic bested Dayana Yastremska and Sara Bejlek in the second and third rounds, respectively.

Iva Jovic and Anna Kalinskaya will square off against each other for the first time in their career. Jovic reached the quarterfinal by overpowering  Alycia Parks 6-3, 6-2 and Sofia Kenin 7-5, 7-5. She made her debut at the tournament in 2026. Kalinskaya’s best previous result was reaching the quarterfinals at the 2023 and 2025 editions.
