Tennis Picks Today: 5 Best Bets & Predictions Ft. Ben Shelton vs Alexander Blockx, Mirra Andreeva vs Jelena Ostapenko | April 15, 2026

Ben Shelton advanced to the BMW Open’s round of 16 after defeating fellow countryman Emilio Nava in three sets. He will now face Alexander Blockx on Wednesday. Meanwhile, reigning Linz Open champion Mirra Andreeva is set to begin her journey at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix against defending champion Jelena Ostapenko in the round of 32.

These are just two among a handful of matches from which we will bring you the best bets and top tennis picks for the day so that you can place your wagers meticulously. We will cover some of the top matches from the ATP and WTA circuits, including three top events: the BMW Open, the Stuttgart Open, and the Barcelona Open.

Top Tennis Picks and Best Bets Today

Ben Shelton vs. Alexander Blockx: Total Games Over 23.5 (-115)

This will be the first professional meeting on tour between Shelton and Blockx, as the rising stars aim to make a deep run in Munich this week. Shelton defeated Nava in the opening round in three competitive sets, while Blockx defeated homeboy Yannick Hanfmann in straight sets.

The Belgian is coming off a decent performance at the Monte Carlo Masters, where he reached the round of 16. In contrast, Shelton, the Houston Open favorite, was knocked out in the quarterfinals.

With Shelton being the early favorite to win the tie, we don’t see why Blockx shouldn’t push the match into the deciding set, and maybe even stage a major upset, thereby taking the total games over 23.5.

Jelena Ostapenko vs. Mirra Andreeva: Andreeva to Win Most Games in the Match -4.5 (-110)

This will be the first meeting between Andreeva and Ostapenko on the WTA tour. Both players have already played an event on clay, with the Russian producing a better result than the Latvian. Ostapenko has struggled with inconsistency on court this season, while Andreeva has already won two WTA titles.

With momentum on her side, expect the Russian to come out all guns blazing in this contest, overpowering Osatapenko and defeating her in straight sets to advance to the round of 16. Therefore, Andreeva should easily manage to win the most games throughout the contest.

Eva Lys vs. Elina Svitolina: Svitolina to Win in 2 Sets

The reigning ASB Classic champion, Elina Svitolina, and Eva Lys will be squaring off for the first time on tour. The Ukrainian is having the season of her life, reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open and the semifinals or better in two of the four WTA 1000 events so far this year.

In contrast, Lys just managed her second win of the season as she defeated Paula Badosa in the opening round of the Stuttgart Open in three sets yesterday. We don’t see why the veteran Ukrainian should have any problems defeating the home girl and advancing to the quarterfinals. Take Svitolina to win in straight sets.

Cameron Norrie vs Ethan Quinn: Total Games Over 22.5 (-120)

Cameron Norrie and the American rising star Ethan Quinn will be facing each other for the first time on the ATP Tour. Quinn is coming off a straight-sets victory against fellow American Reilly Opelka, while Norrie was made to fight hard to earn his against veteran Swiss Stan Wawrinka in three grueling sets.

Despite Norrie being the early favorite to win this tie, Quinn can cause an upset in Barcelona today. The American has positive momentum and looks agile on clay. Ultimately, the winner should be decided in three sets, and the total games in the match should go over 22.5.

Iga Swiatek vs. Laura Siegemund: Total Games in Set 1; 9-10 Games (+160)

Four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek is set to begin her journey in the claycourt swing at Stuttgart under the new partnership with coach Francisco Roig. The Pole had a disappointing run in the Sunshine Double and has yet to win her first title of the season. Swiatek will be up against veteran Laura Siegemund in her Stuttgart opener.

We expect the Pole to be highly dominant from the outset, controlling rallies, serving well, and finishing points quickly. But this doesn’t mean the German couldn’t win at least three games against Swiatek in the opening match, since this will be the Pole’s first claycourt tournament. So, you should expect the first set scoreline as 6-3 or 6-4 in favor of Swiatek.
