Ben Shelton’s Girlfriend Trinity Rodman Tells Off Her Fashion Haters After Stylish ‘Marty Supreme’ Game Day Fit Steals The Show

Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, is a talented soccer player who plays for the Washington Spirit in the NWSL. The star forward is known for being highly active on social media, with a large 736K followers on Instagram.

Rodman is experimental with her fashion choices, continuously impressing her fans and followers with her latest outfit updates. Before the Spirit’s regular-season game against the Utah Royals FC on Wednesday, Rodman showed up at the Audi Field wearing a ‘Marty Supreme’ jacket and stylish black boots.

She shared a disclaimer in the caption of her Instagram story, preemptively telling off her haters for any future criticism about her outfit, especially the unorthodox boots.

“Disclaimer: Idc if you didn’t like the boots,” Rodman wrote in the story.

While Rodman failed to score in the game, as Spirit drew 1-1 against the Royals. It is still early in the new NWSL season, and the clubs have plenty of time to regroup and reassess their goals. Off the field, Rodman likes to spend time with her loved ones.

She has been in the stands cheering on Shelton during his matches on the ATP circuit. Rodman and Shelton spent quality time in Auckland during the Australian swing earlier this year. She was also present in the players’ box to witness Shelton lift the ATP 500 title in Dallas last month.

However, since Dallas, Shelton has struggled on tour with early exits in the Sunshine Double. Now, the World No. 9 will aim to defend some valuable points during the claycourt swing, which starts on March 30.

Former ATP Pro Feels There is Nothing to Worry About With Ben Shelton’s Poor Run in the Sunshine Double

In the latest episode of the “Nothing Major” podcast, former American pro Sam Querrey discussed the dip Shelton was enduring, while adding that there was nothing to worry about. Querrey expects the 23-year-old to bounce back during the clay-court swing.

“I did not watch this [his defeat] but Ben still throws in some of those tough losses or stretches during the year but I feel like Ben has these massive peaks like seven times a year, basically at every major you trust him to play well and then three or four other times, Dallas or wherever it is, he just plays huge tennis,” Querrey said.

“In my opinion, it’s nothing to worry about. He was sick. I always thought Miami was tough to play in. I never played well there. Maybe Miami is one of those places for Ben for whatever reason. But I trust that during a Monte-Carlo, Madrid, French Open, Wimbledon, he is going to be ready to go and play well,” he added.

Shelton will be in action next at the Houston Open, the only claycourt event on US soil, starting March 30.
