Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman have shared an intimate look into their personal lives. The soccer star recently shared a video of themselves getting ready for a date night. The couple are slowly closing in on their first anniversary, having gotten together in March 2025.
Aside from showing up to support one another during their respective matches, the couple frequently post updates on social media about their lives together. Rodman has now offered fans a sneak peak into their private lives.
Rodman recently posted a GRWM (get ready with me) video on Instagram. She can be seen doing her makeup in it before donning her outfit for the night. A shirtless Shelton appears in the video at that point, closing in on his girlfriend for a quick kiss. The adorable couple sign off by showing their fits for the date. Watch the entire video below:
The young couple spent some quality time together during Shelton’s off-season. Rodman is exploring her options following the expiration of her contract with Washington Spirit in the NWSL. There are rumors of a potential move to Europe, though nothing is confirmed as of now.
As for Shelton, it’s back to the regular grind of the ATP Tour him. He’s currently competing at the ASB Classic in Auckland, his first tournament of 2026, and the only one before the Australian Open.
Ben Shelton makes a winning start to his ASB Classic campaign
After a first-round bye, Ben Shelton beat Francisco Comesana 7-5, 6-4 at the ASB Classic 2026 in Auckland. He left the tournament without a win last year, so he has already improved upon his result from his previous outing.
Shelton will take on fifth seed Sebastian Baez in the quarterfinals on Thursday, January 15. The American won their only prior encounter, coincidentally in Auckland a couple of years ago, in straight sets. He will meet either fourth seed Luciano Darderi or Marcos Giron in the semifinals, followed by a potential date with second seed Casper Ruud in the final.
Following his run at the ASB Classic, Shelton will head to Melbourne for the Australian Open. He made the semifinals last year, going down to eventual champion Jannik Sinner in straight sets.
Shelton will be seeded eighth at the Australian Open, and could run into either Sinner or Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals. The two were responsible for three of his four losses at the Majors in 2025.
