The Buffalo Bills made the franchise-altering move to draft MVP quarterback Josh Allen with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
It was one of the best draft choices in recent memory.

A Look Back at the Buffalo Bills’ Game-Changing 2018 QB Pick
Bills GM Brandon Beane appeared on The Rich Eisen Show recently to chat about what attracted the Bills to Allen.
“It’s almost like a god-like feeling…Something about his film, it was just so exciting…I was very concerned (that the Browns or Jets might draft him).”

Bills fans have to be feeling thankful that the Browns and Jets were set on taking other quarterbacks (Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold).
After those teams made their moves, the Bills were able to trade up to get him.
Since then, Allen has fit in perfectly in Buffalo, and the NFL has greatly benefited from that pairing.
Josh Allen Is on a Hall of Fame Trajectory
While the Bills are still searching for that elusive Super Bowl title that has been just out of their grasp, Allen appears to be the right quarterback to help the organization achieve that.
The three-time Pro-Bowler is the first and only player to record 40 or more total touchdowns in five straight seasons.
He has thrown for over 4,200 yards in four of the past five seasons, and he has recorded 12 or more rushing touchdowns in each of the last two seasons.
The 28-year-old stands at 6’5″ and weighs close to 240 pounds, which is why it is so tough to bring him down.
In all honesty, the former Wyoming Cowboy could very well be the closest thing to Brett Favre in today’s game.
Allen is an absolute gamer and a true competitor.
Injuries don’t seem to stop him, and it almost always seems like he can do everything himself.
With plenty of time remaining in his storied, likely Hall-of-Fame career, the franchise has a lot of time to get to and win a Super Bowl.

But to accomplish that feat, they will likely have to go through Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, which has been tough to do in recent years.
