Texas Tech volleyball star Gretchen Sigman has turned 20 years old now, and she is preparing for her next season at Texas Tech, though she would not be with her boyfriend, Brendan Sorsby. After all the controversy, he will be leaving the school and will be preparing for the NFL supplemental draft. Before that happens, they spent time together with some friends for her birthday.
Gretchen Sigman and Brendan Sorsby can be seen walking around outside while holding hands with one another, as well as hanging out with friends as they celebrated Sigman’s 20th birthday.
As Sigman posted this, Sorsby commented with a special message for her.
“MY beautiful girl ❤️,” Brendan Sorsby commented.

This would be the calm before the storm for Sorsby, as he awaits the NFL’s decision on whether to approve him for the supplemental draft. He decided to declare for the NFL supplemental draft ahead of the deadline for entry after the lawsuits over his eligibility started to mount.
Sorsby will end his college career without officially playing a single regular-season game with his new team, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, though Gretchen Sigman may be opting to stay at Lubbock while her BF turns pro. The quarterback and the school are facing legal battles that are expected to continue even after he decided to leave college football and enter the NFL supplemental draft.
NFL Executives Sound Off on Brendan Sorsby Gambling Issue
While Brendan Sorsby is making waves as he prepares for a possible supplemental draft, several team executives spoke with SI’s Albert Breer and sounded off on what they think of him. Many downplayed his gambling scandal and believe that he has already put that behind him.
“The way I’d look at the gambling, I don’t really care if he’s suspended for part of this year so much,” one AFC exec said. “What I care about is, can I sleep good at night knowing it’s behind him? I know he went to rehab, but was that a reaction to getting caught or a real effort to get past it?”
“I want the context of it—was he sitting on the couch bored, a kid punching bets into his phone, or was this strategic and planned out and all that?” another AFC exec added. “If this is just a guy on his phone placing bets, that’s correctable. That’s not harming anyone else.”
Sorsby bet on several games his team played in, though he was redshirted at that time. While this has violated several NCAA rules, this had several NCAA programs and conferences concerned.
