Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball star Andi Jackson reacted to boyfriend Isaac Wachsmann’s decision to commit to UCLA Bruins baseball. He entered the portal as a graduate transfer. Before the decision, there were rumors tying him to the program already.
On Sunday, Wachsmann took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself in a Bruins baseball jersey. His caption said it all:
“Last ride. @uclabruinsbaseball”
Under the comments section, his girlfriend Jackson celebrated the achievement by hailing her love.
“You are so amazing!!” she wrote.

Wachsmann, a 6-foot-4 outfielder, previously played at Creighton Bluejays after beginning his career at Xavier Musketeers. He could play corner outfield or serve as a designated hitter, providing the Bruins with right-handed power and veteran experience.
For the Bruins, Wachsmann’s commitment gives them the necessary ammunition on offense after another elite season under head coach John Savage.
Andi Jackson and Isaac Wachsmann Celebrates One-Year Anniversary
Earlier in February, Andi Jackson celebrated her first anniversary with Isaac Wachsmann. The two have been dating since Feb. 2025 and marked their first anniversary with posts featuring photos together.
The Cornhuskers star shared a collage of all the memories the duo have enjoyed together over the past year of their relationship.
“365,” she wrote.
In May, Andi Jackson shared an update on social media, watching a match of Isaac Wachsmann’s Creighton Bluejays baseball team. She recently took the trip to Disney with teammate Bergen Reilly as well.
Currently, Jackson is preparing for the 2026 NCAA season after being named the inaugural AVCA Middle Blocker of the Year. After her scrimmage match in the 2026 USA Volleyball Women’s National Team Collegiate Training Program, the middle blocker spoke about fueling a championship mindset and detailed what the team must do to avoid shortfalls.
“Yeah, we’re a really special team and we’re going to have a lot of fun this season,” Jackson said. “There’s a lot of things that we’re trying to clean up and just work towards our end goal, but we want to just stay in the moment. I think we’ve put too much pressure on ourselves, especially these last 3 years when I’ve been here, towards the end.
“So we’re just really going to try to have fun with it and enjoy it and take advantage of our senior season. I know as seniors have talked about it, and we’re going to put it all out there, and whatever happens happens.”
Jackson played last in the spring match for Nebraska on April 25 against Northern Colorado in Chadron, Nebraska.
