Nebraska Huskers’ star volleyball players Andi Jackson and Bergen Reilly have been added to the USA Volleyball Women’s National Team red-blue match roster. Being exceptionally great in their volleyball prowess, the two Huskers have now received a formal invitation from the USA National Team to play alongside Olympic champions. The milestone is one among several for the Huskers, who have been riding on a winning season since their undefeated spring break run, alongside their athletes receiving honorary accolades.
The roster for the 2026 Women’s National Team Red-Blue match has been announced by USA Volleyball, which consists of all 30 athletes who were set for the preliminary roster for the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). The game is highly competitive, and to bring a reasonable balance, USA Volleyball has mixed youth talent with professional experience, where veteran players like two-time Olympic medalist Haleigh Washington and Lauren Briseno will play alongside college standouts like Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson.
Both Reilly and Jackson received the call-up after demonstrating great leadership and technical on-court skills. The Sioux Falls native, Reilly, is considered one of the nation’s top setters and has recently earned the AVCA All-America First Team honor. Jackson, too, is renowned for her middle-block defenses and has also earned the AVCA All-America First Team honor.
The exhibition will be overseen by a high-performance staff led by Head Coach Erik Sullivan, alongside acclaimed statisticians, physical trainers, and physiotherapists.
