The Nebraska volleyball team is all set to scrimmage Northern Colorado on Saturday at the Chicoine Center at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska.
The Huskers are competing in the spring season, which they opened on April 11 against Iowa State. They were last seen in action on April 17, where they went against Creighton at the DJ Sokol Arena. In this showdown, they maintained their dominance, registering a 3-1 win against the opponent.
The UNVC played spring scrimmages against several teams, including Colorado, Colorado State, the Air Force Academy, the University of Denver, and Wyoming. Nebraska and Northern Colorado were scheduled for a match during COVID-19; however, their match was cancelled.
Now, they are all set to compete in the final spring match of the season at Chadron. This is very important for the Huskers as it continues its tradition of touring all over Nebraska for spring volleyball matches. Since 2007, the team has played spring matches in several parts of the season. This is one of the most anticipated matches, as tickets sold out within hours after they went on sale on March 26.
