Harper Murray recently sent a bold message to haters through her viral TikTok video amid her off-season. The Nebraska star is currently gearing up for the upcoming tournaments of the 2026 volleyball season.
Murray was last seen in action during the spring exhibition matches of this season, which commenced on April 11. The Huskers opened their match against Iowa State at Sioux Falls, where they bagged the victory with a stunning 4-0 sweep. After terrific showdowns, they wrapped up the spring exhibition on April 25 after competing against North Colorado at the Chicoine Center in Chadron, Nebraska.
They dominated this game as well after once again claiming a 4-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-16, 25-21) sweep. Following this, Murray has been enjoying her time away from the court, and amid this, she recently issued a spicy message for her haters through a video on TikTok. In the clip, she is seen drinking water from a bottle while the background music played:
“How do you sleep at night when you know that no one likes you. Without underwear in case you want to kiss my ass.”

Before entering the 2026 season, Murray’s last outing was at the 2025 NCAA Volleyball Championships, where her team delivered a flawless performance and was unbeaten during the whole regular season until the regional finals round. During the Elite 8 run, her team lost to the Texas A&M volleyball team, bringing her and her team’s time at the nationals to an end.
When Harper Murray weighed in on dealing with hate and being herself
In August 2025, Harper Murray sat for a conversation with Hail Varsity, where she opened up about facing hate online and weighed in on how social media can take a toll on mental health sometimes. However, she said that despite the tough days, she focuses on working on herself and on being her authentic self.
“Sometimes it can be hard, like you forget the pressure that it comes with, but I think I try and have fun with it, and I try and be myself on social media. Sometimes it might not be what people like, but I think that’s kind of the point.”
Stating that she won’t apologize for who she is, she added:
“I don’t wanna apologize for who I am, so I think social media is a great way to do that. I’m not gonna guard myself and I’ll always try and be myself and social media has definitely given me the platform to do that and I’ve let other people into my life through that.”
Harper Murray will next be seen competing at the Spikes Under the Lights tournament, which will be held on August 27, 2026, at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
