Travis Kelce finally revealed what was going through his mind during one of the biggest moments of his life.
On the season finale of the “New Heights” podcast published on Wednesday, which was recorded before his and Taylor Swift’s wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reflected on the moment he proposed to the global pop icon.
Kelce admitted he spent the entire podcast recording with a major secret, knowing he planned to propose as soon as the filming was completed.
“Starting it with Taylor, pretty epic,” Kelce said while looking back at the August 2025 episode.
“During that recording, the entire time I’m planning, like, ‘I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after this.'”
Kelce added that it remains one of the most memorable podcast episodes for him.
“One I’ll remember forever.”
The comments quickly spread across social media after Pop Base shared the clip online, with fans reacting to Kelce’s admission and imagining the pressure of proposing to one of the world’s biggest celebrities.

Kelce’s comments came just days after he and Swift celebrated their wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Their wedding was officiated by Adam Sandler. While Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honor, and Travis brother Jason Kelce stood beside him as the Best Man.
An estimated 1,000 guests attended the wedding, including multiple celebrities from the sports and entertainment world.
