The end of the 2025-26 NFL season is almost upon us, which means it’s the award season. The results for the Pro Football Writers Awards are out, with their All-NFL and All-Rookie selections, Rookie of the Year, Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Defensive Rookie of the Year honors being disclosed to the public on Tuesday, January 20.
This is one of the best barometers for the official NFL awards, which are set to be announced shortly before the Super Bowl in February. Here’s a look at the selections by the PFWA.

The NFL Rookie of the Year and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year for the PFWA this year was Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. The receiver recorded 1014 receiving yards, with seven touchdowns in 70 catches this season.
Their NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year was Cleveland Browns’ linebacker Carson Schwesinger, who had 67 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions.
