“I Don’t Give a S**t”: Patriots Star Will Campbell Drops Blunt Statement To Critics Amid Backlash From Fans

By any standard, Will Campbell has had an incredible rookie season. Since being selected with the fourth overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, the former LSU offensive tackle has become a staple in the starting lineup of his new team. He started 13 games this season, and with the Patriots still in contention, dreams of a Super Bowl in his rookie year are still alive.

His numbers are enviable for a rookie, only allowing seven sacks of quarterback Drake Maye and committing just seven penalties all season long. However, not everyone agrees with the performance. In particular, fans were unhappy with his performance during the Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Chargers. During the 16-3 victory, Maye was sacked five times.

The first to admit he’s not perfect is Campbell himself, but it’s not like he’s paying too much attention to what naysayers have to say:

“I don’t give a sh– what anyone says, to be honest with you,” Campbell told a reporter on Wednesday, candidly. “It’s easy to type behind a Twitter account that, you know, is fake. I hold myself to the highest expectation of anybody. I want to be perfect, and it’s hard for me to get told that it’s going to be hard to be perfect. But the Chargers, obviously I didn’t pitch a shutout. You know I wish I had two or three plays that I wish I could have back. But that’s $300 million [of] defensive ends and I’ve got a ton of respect for those dudes. And It’s going to be like that every week in the playoffs.”
