The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding was one of the most popular events of this year so far, with over 1,000 guests attending the grand event at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The guest list was extremely star-studded, with the biggest names from the sports world and Hollywood coming together to celebrate the happy couple. Some of the big names included Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Julia Robert, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and more.
Olympic medalist Jack Sock also attended the extravagant event on July 3. On Saturday, Sock shared how he felt being in the same room as such big names in an interview with pickleballdotcom:
“I think that was just the general feeling for hours. It was everywhere. That was probably the overall vibe, especially during the cocktail hour at the beginning, because it was kind of in an arena. I guess it was just one of the hallways where they held the cocktail hour, and you were kind of shoulder-to-shoulder with everybody—Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Charlie, and Brad Pitt. You’d look around, and they were standing right there, just waiting.”
Sock also said:
“It was just a crazy, crazy experience. It was an unbelievable experience. There was everything—from comedic relief to, obviously, tears for a lot of people. There were great times, great energy, and obviously, you were going to have that with Travis.”
Sock also shared that there were many performances by great artists at the wedding, including Swift’s.
Celebrity Journalist Grills Taylor Swift for “Over the Top Wedding”
During a recent conversation on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” celebrity journalist Rob Shuter spoke about how Swift treated her wedding like it was an award show, inviting a thousand people, a lot of whom she didn’t even know personally.
“It’s your wedding. This is not the Academy Awards. This is not a party. This is not the Grammys. It’s your wedding,” Shuter said. “And on that one day, you couldn’t have a moment for yourself and your groom. It had to be this production, and it had to be this over-the-top extravaganza for people you don’t know. It’s really telling, isn’t it? But even so, this was so vulgar. It was so over the top,” Shuter said.
There has been a lot of criticism of the wedding, and an article by The Daily Mail claims many guests were unhappy with some of the arrangements at the event.
