Dianna Russini has been the topic of discussion ever since she was seen with Mike Vrabel at an adults-only resort in Sedona, Arizona.
The scandal has received a lot of attention since then, with more pictures of their alleged relationship making headlines.
While Russini never admitted to the cheating allegations, Vrabel addressed the controversy in a press conference, saying he hasn’t been holding himself to the standards he sets for himself and that he wants to focus on being a good husband and father.
Months after the controversy, Russini has been spotted with her family celebrating the 4th of July weekend with her husband and kids.
Shortly after the controversy, Russini resigned from her job at The Athletic where she was reportedly earning $800,000 a year.
Mike Florio Calls Out Dianna Russini for Lying About FaceTiming an NFL HC
Dianna Russini found herself making the headlines once again after the New York Times published an extensive story on the former NFL reporter months after the Mike Vrabel controversy.
In the story, one of Russini’s podcast appearances was highlighted, where she claimed she called an NFL head coach after a police officer pulled her over for texting while driving.
A few days after the New York Times story was released, bodycam footage was leaked, which seems like the one Russini was talking about; however, in that clip, she only told the police officer that she was texting with Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell and didn’t actually FaceTime him as she claimed in the podcast earlier.
Reacting to the situation, Mike Florio called out Russini for lying about the FaceTiming story.
“I’ve gone from believing it’s practically impossible for her to be a journalist again, an insider again, [to] I’m now starting to wonder whether or not she’s employable in any capacity in the media,” Florio said. “And look, again, I want to go far enough to satisfy my role. I don’t want to go too far. But who’s going to hire her?”
Florio highlighted that if he were hiring someone for a podcast or a radio gig, he would be questioning what the basic level of truthfulness would be for Russini on big and small matters.
