The NFL draft is now over, which means teams would now turn their attention to the free agency, and this includes the Minnesota Vikings. It is no secret that the team needs to fill several key positions right now, including quarterback and wide receiver.
While they had the chance to do so during the draft, they mostly went with defensive players for their incoming rookie class, which means they would have to dip into free agency.
5 Free Agents Minnesota Vikings Could Target
Stefon Diggs
While Stefon Diggs is mired in controversies left and right, there is no denying what he could do on the field. He was instrumental on that Patriots Super Bowl run last season, but the Vikings have to approach him with caution as his various personal issues could be a PR nightmare for the team.
That said, he is currently one of the best wide receivers available right now, so the team better weigh in fast on whether to get him.
Jauan Jennings
Another very good wide receiver option, Jauan Jennings was one of the most productive players in the San Francisco 49ers last season. Like many other 49ers players, he was also bitten by the injury bug but was still very productive, with his performance peaking during the playoffs.
DeAndre Hopkins
Another good veteran wide receiver. He can still play at 34 and would be a good passing target for any quarterback. The best part is that he could still be cheap and would be a good player to pair with his old teammate, Kyler Murray.
Joey Bosa
While the team had a lot of defensive picks from the draft, it still needs an OLB, and Joey Bossa could be a good pass rusher, as he could be a good way to pressure on passing downs.
Ethan Pocic
While the Vikings already have a good offensive line, they are not that deep at center and may have to reinforce the position from the free agency, and former Browns lineman Ethan Pocic may be one of the best options still available.
