Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s mega wedding, which featured 1,000 people, has been the talk of the town even after almost a week.
The highly anticipated wedding took place on 3rd July at Madison Square Garden in New York. It was filled with various A-list celebrities and popular NFL players like Russel Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, George Kittle, and more.
One of those guests, an ex-NFL player, has been facing some trolling for his unique fashion choices at the wedding.
Ross Taylor, a former NFL defensive end, wore panda sneakers to the wedding, and while he is getting trolled for that choice on Instagram and X, he stands by them.
“I’ve been getting roasted by a lot of people, not on Instagram or Facebook, but on Twitter X, with what I talked to about the Monday morning show, being at the wedding Friday night. A lot of people are clowning me for wearing the panda sneakers. I guess I would just say this. In general, I emphasize good times rather than good things. I said this, I think on Twitter X at Ross Tucker NFL. I got really good advice from someone who would know to wear super comfortable rubber-soled shoes. I did that. Thank goodness, because we dance for over five hours, maybe six hours. I don’t know.”
Tucker also added that people were coming to him and telling him how great an idea it was.
“So I am always going to lean on the side of fun and comfort and enjoying the experience over being overly concerned with my appearance or fashion or whatever,” Tucker added.
Tavia Hunt Addresses the Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Rumors
The Swift, Kelce wedding was one of the most hyped social events of the year, and the couple also didn’t leave a stone unturned in making their night s beautiful.
The couple reportedly turned MSG into a castle-themed wedding venue, and the whole event was even described as “magical” by Donna Kelce.
However, a Daily Mail report claimed that some guests were unhappy with the couple’s preparations.
The report claimed that there was a shortage of champagne at the wedding, while also claiming that the guests were unimpressed by the long lines at the food buffet.
Dismissing the claims, Chiefs owner’s wife, Tavia Hunt, commented on a post on IG:
“This is such a false narrative,” Hunt said on social media. “They did not run out of champagne. There were no long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony. The vows were spectacular – beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect.”
Hunt added that the whole wedding could not have been a more fabulous experience and called the rumors “inappropriate.”
