Tom Brady’s rivalry with Logan Paul has taken another dramatic turn after the WWE star compared the seven-time Super Bowl champion to one of television’s most notorious fictional villains.
Speaking on the episode of the “Impaulsive” podcast on July 22 alongside Mike Majlak, Logan claimed that Brady is very different when he is away from the cameras, hinting that the NFL legend has an aggressive side that few people get to see.
“You know what I think? I can compare Tom Brady to Homelander,” Logan said. “Everyone thinks he’s this good guy and he loves everybody. It’s all for the people. It’s all for the kids. Behind closed doors, Tom Brady wants to kill you. That’s how I feel about me anyway.”
Majlak jokingly added that those around Brady even had to hold him back after the pair’s latest confrontation.
The comments continue to fuel speculation that Brady and Paul might face each other in a future WWE match.
WWE Match Rumors Continue to Grow
The possibility of Brady entering the WWE has become one of the most unexpected talking points in sports entertainment.
NFL legend Drew Brees admitted that he’d like to see Brady and Logan settle their differences inside the ring.
“They should. They should schedule it,” Brees said to TMZ when asked about the matchup.
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has also shown his support for the match.
“It’s a match made in heaven. You got arguably the greatest football player ever,” Henry told TMZ Sports on Tuesday.
“He gets a lot of attention. He’s been surrounded by the locker room his whole life. And now he’s in the entertainment business. Why not connect with the biggest multimedia entertainment company in the world?”
“He got to see up close and personal what it looked like when Gronk did it and what it did for his brand internationally,” Henry said.
If an agreement is eventually reached, the match would probably be featured on WWE’s biggest events, potentially WrestleMania.
For now, Logan’s comparison of Brady to Homelander paints the NFL icon as someone whose public image differs sharply from his real personality.
